Bible Translation Principles Part III (1 credit hour)

The translated Scriptures are of no use unless the people are taught to read. This course addresses motivating people to learn to read. The student learns how to construct primers and conduct an adult literacy campaign. Teaching adults to read is a very special skill requiring much patience and understanding of how people learn to read symbols on paper. Strong churches require pastors who can read the Bible.
